My name is Anna Mazowiecka and I am a qualified talking therapy provider holding a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma in Transactional Analysis (TA) Counselling and Psychotherapy awarded by the Middlesex University London (Level 7/UKCP). In my work I also use elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) based on Mindfulness Practice which very well address the “present moment” difficulties from the perspective of “here and now” as well as so called DBT Skills (Dialectic Behaviour Therapy) which is very effective for emotional regulation. Apart from my degree in talking therapy, I hold a BA in Business Administration and an MA in Marketing and Management.
I currently work in humanistic and integrative modalty of talking therapy. My private practice is based in West London/Ealing and in Rochester/Kent. Between 2007-2018 I have been also volunteering part-time to support vulnerable adults at a couple of charity organisations based in London. In 2015-2016 I worked as a freelance for the NHS IAPT service in Kent. From 2016 I started offering sessions for clients with private medical insurance with Bupa, Vitality, Aviva, AXA PPP, Aetna, and Healix.
I am an Accredited Member of BACP (The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), Full Clinical Member of UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), Practitioner Member of GHR (Heneral Hypnotherapy Register) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council), and also a Regular Member of ITAA (International Transactional Analysis Association).
I have regular supervision and I continually invest in my professional development (please click on the link about workshops to see all recent trainings).
My practice is protected by Professional Indemnity Insurance.
