Counselling work will be provided within a contract we mutually agree on. That means that we only work to make the changes that we both are agreed on. Sometimes this agreement can be established early on and sometimes finding out what this agreement is going to be can take time. Indeed, understanding what a person wants, and then being able to clearly articulate that, could be a major part of the therapeutic process.
Sessions will take place at my practice and will take the form of one-to-one meetings.
Before we agree to enter into a counselling relationship with each other, I will invite you to have an initial face-to-face, telephone or Skype consultation that will be chargeable – the price will depend on the type of the session and the source of the referral. Couple therapy sessions are more expensive than individual sessions. EAP referrals that require standardised progress monitoring forms and extensive administrative paperwork are more expensive than GP referrals.
Standard individual counselling sessions last for 50 minutes.
Prices for sessions in Rochester are lower than prices for sessions in London.
Sessions are usually organized once a week.
There are times or a crisis point when people would like to see me more often. In these situations I can offer sessions twice a week.
To make an appointment and schedule your first session, I can be contacted at 07707 639 349 or via the E-mail tag on my website. I will not accept your call if you are calling from a withheld telephone number.
Skype or telephone sessions are possible for bridging the gaps in between face to face sessions or for regular clients who have temporary difficulties in attending face to face sessions.
Any cancellations or re-scheduling of an individual session must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment. Clients, who cancel or reschedule within 24 hours or do not show up, will be charged the regular fee.
